Game of Thrones Season 7 seems to be at the mercy of hackers. As promised by the hackers, they have leaked the GoT S07E05 called ‘Eastwatch.‘ HBO the maker of the series is facing a real threat as the hackers have promised to release all the remaining episodes of GoT Season 7. Hackers today leaked the Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 5 Eastwatch. This is in continuation to the earlier leak of Episode 4, Spoils of War. Even as the HBO top honchos were filing DMCA to contain further leaks of Game of Thrones scripts, another set of hackers got their hands on GoT S07E04 Spoils of War by hacking the Star TV India’s App called Hotstar. Cyber security pundits are already claiming the HBO hack to be the biggest scandal hitting Hollywood after the infamous Sony Pictures data breach of 2014 in which the hackers got their hands on internal memos and emails of Sony Pictures as well as prints of several Sony releases. In fact, the hack was so severe that Sony reportedly shifted to English era typewriters for communications. HBO has already confirmed that unknown hackers had successfully hacked into its servers and stolen vital files pertaining to scripts of its various TV shows including GoT Season 7 and other several shows. The hackers on their part have claimed that they have access to an HBO treasure trove of 1.35 TB which includes office memos and internal emails. The latest leak came to light when a Redittor leaked Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 5 ‘Eastwatch’ script in the form of a 20-page PDF file. The leaked script is titled “CONFIDENTIAL,” just like previous leaks. It also bears the “HBO Leak” and “HBO is Falling” watermark. The leaked script of GoT S07E04 Eastwatch also mentions that it’s a preliminary outline for production lines however, hardcore Game of Thrones fans would lap up the script. In fact, at the time of writing this article, the Reddit thread has already become most read thread. The thread also has inputs from other Redditors who have given information of upcoming Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 and 7. Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 5 Eastwatch will be aired on Sunday 13th and HBO must be praying to the old gods and the new gods that some other hacker doesn’t release the entire episode like Episode 4 “Spoils of War. The hackers have reportedly asked a $6 million ransom for not outing the remaining scripts of the ongoing Season 7 of Game of Thrones. In a five-minute ransom video from “Mr. Smith” to HBO CEO Richard Plepler, the hackers gave the message that the network has three days to pay up as the group dumped a fresh batch of stolen HBO files online Monday. The HBO hackers claimed that the HBO officials offered them $250,000 as “bug bounty reward” instead of $6 million they asked for.
